So I am going to try and see if I can handle this blogging concept. Textclad is just a simple weblog that will provide an outlet for some thoughts and ideas that I have. I generally do not expect to see any traffic here. More to come.

I have been involved in radio in some form since 1993. I earned degrees in broadcast media and information systems. Also on my list is that I have had in technology that helps empower radio enthusiast in the industry I love.
I come from more of the hobby spirit of radio rather then the commercial one. Despite my love for media I am an advocate of a much more diversified media industry then the one we have today. I tend to champion campaigns for local diversity as opposed to homogenized markets. I like long walks on the beach and dogs too.
